The “Entrepreneurship” lecture series at Offenburg University gives students the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about entrepreneurship, starting a business and developing their own business ideas. The format combines theoretical foundations with practical insights and hands-on work on concrete ideas.
The programme focuses on topics such as developing and evaluating business ideas, business models and the start-up process. Working in teams, participants develop their own business ideas and explore how to turn them into viable business models. The lecture series is complemented by insights from founders, experts in start-up support, and representatives from companies and the startup ecosystem, giving students the opportunity to learn from different perspectives and real-world experiences.
The lecture series is aimed at students from all Bachelor’s degree programmes and provides an opportunity to exchange ideas with students from different disciplines and universities, form teams and work together on entrepreneurial ideas. Since the winter semester 2026/27, the format has also been open to students from the University of Freiburg and Furtwangen University.
The lecture series takes place across several full-day sessions and concludes with participants presenting the business ideas they have developed.
