WePack is a digital local grocery concept that reimagines the weekly shopping experience. Customers order their groceries online, select a pickup station, and can pick up their order in just a few seconds, 24/7. A resource-efficient reusable system, regional products, and AI-powered food management ensure a sustainable and efficient supply chain.
The idea originated while Sven Wernert was studying at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences. The student project evolved into WePack GmbH, which operates its own pickup station and an innovative click-and-collect system. Together with his team, Sven Wernert is working to make grocery shopping more flexible, sustainable, and less dependent on traditional store hours.
As an alumnus of Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Sven Wernert exemplifies the region’s entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrates how a university idea can evolve into an innovative company.
